Hey guys! This week I wanted to announce something new that I'll be starting. It's called Favorites of the Month! Basically I'll be recommending and reviewing skincare and hair products. To start off this month I'm going to be reviewing one product from Memebox and one product from YesStyle. This is not a sponsored post BTW. Let's get into it!
The first product is the Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask (Above). The point of this mask is to unclog pores and exfoliate the face. It also brightens the skin for a youthful glow. One thing that I love about this mask is that it can be applied to a dirty face and once you wash it off your face is clean because of how well the mask cleans out your pores. Recently I started wearing makeup so this mask helps a lot with preventing acne caused by the clogging of pores. Another great thing about this mask is that it's just plain fun. When I show you how it looks on my face you'll understand.
When you open the box and open the container this is what you'll see. The mask contains a lot of charcoal which gives it the gray color. It comes with a little spatula for application, but I find it easier to just use your hands. The mask has a very thick texture and is very cool on the face.
Once you take off the protective seal this is what you see. The clay has a soft but thick texture. WARNING!! Be sure to close the container as quickly as possible. When this mask comes in contact with oxygen it bubbles up and won't convert back, so use the mask quickly and seal it right back up, I have used this mask before so the inside does look sloppy. I promise it didn't come like that.
As soon as I applied the mask to my face it started to bubble up as you can see it's raised from my face.
So, after 1 minute this is how much the mask has grown. For this step you wait for five min.
Once the five min. are up you rub the mask in and wash it off. I highly recommend doing this step in the shower because the mask is a little tough to wash off.
Overall I really do love this mask and how it makes my skin look and feel afterward. I highly recommend it. On Memebox.com you can order it for only $11. I hope that you guys enjoyed this review and I hope that you try the product out for yourselves. On to the next product!
The second product is the Blackhead Removal Activated Carbon Mask Set. This is a peel off mask that pulls put the dirt, blackheads, and whiteheads in your pores. It's a three step kit.

The second product is the Blackhead Removal Activated Carbon Mask Set. This is a peel off mask that pulls put the dirt, blackheads, and whiteheads in your pores. It's a three step kit.
One thing that I love about this mask is that fact that it actually works. I've tried many DIY's and products to clear my skin of whiteheads, but none have worked as well as this one has.
As you can see this kit comes with step one which is a Deep Pore Sebum Softener. This opens up and softens your pores and helps to raise all the whiteheads and blackheads toward the surface of your skin. After that is step two which is the peel off mask itself. You just apply this to wherever you want to minimize your pores and clear up those pesky black/whiteheads. Then there's the third step which is the Skin Clarifying Pore Treatment Essence. This calms down the skin and closes the pores after the black/whiteheads have been pulled out. Now to show you guys the process!
So just apply step one to an area of the face and wait a few minutes so it can open your pores.
Then take step 2 and apply a layer of mask to your face. Be sure not to use too much or else it'll take too long to dry, but you shouldn't be able to see through the mask. Wait for 20+ min. for the mask to dry depending on the thickness.
To the left is a picture of the mask fully dried, and on the right is a picture of all of the whiteheads that this mask pulled out. Sorry it doesn't show how many and how thoroughly it truly pulled out. I have just a basic phone camera, so sorry about that, but if you look closely every single bump and white speck on the mask are whiteheads. Depending on how much hair you have on your face this mask's pain factor can vary. For me it doesn't hurt at all but if you accidentally get it on your hairline then it will hurt.
You're then going to apply step 3 to wherever you had the mask. This calms the skin and closes the pores.
Overall I really do like this product. You can order it from YesStyle.com for around $16. I hope that you enjoyed this review and that you try this product out for yourself. Thanks for reading!
