Aloe Vera Prep:
1. Cut an aloe vera leaf in half as shown on the left.
2. Then cut the leaf horizontally as shown on the right.
3. Once the leaf is cut you should see a slimy, thick, and clear pulp. Using a method of your choice (I used an ice cream scoop) scrape all of the pulp out of the leaf and place it into a blender. Be sure to not get any of the green part of the leaf into the pulp since it's very hard to get out of curly hair
4. After placing all of the pulp into the blender add 1 Tbs. of water
5. Blend the mixture until the mixture isn't too lumpy
6. Then put the aloe vera into a bowl and it's ready for use!

Whole Procedure:
1. Start off with washing your hair with a shampoo of your choice. I use the brand Cantu's shampoo, but whatever shampoo works for you is perfectly fine
2. The next step is to rinse your hair with the pre-made apple cider vinegar mixture. I recommend stepping into the shower and pouring it onto your hair while tilting your head back. The mixture is meant for your scalp so focus on the roots of your hair.
(Below is a picture of my hair after putting the vinegar mixture into it. I doesn't show much , but that's okay)

3. After the vinegar mixture is in your hair rinse it out. The mixture doesn't need to sit in your hair like a deep condition.
4. After the mixture is rinsed out it's time for our protein mask! Yay!
5. For the mask you're going to saturate your hair with the mask. I divided my hair into sections and clipped them away. I made sure to use all of the mask on my hair by not being afraid to get it all over my hair. Don't forget the roots!
6. After the hair is coating put a cap over your hair. This is going to sit for 45 min.

7. After 45 min rinse out all of the mixture. Be very very thorough with your rinse out. Trust me when I say that you don't want to have any left over mask in your hair.
8. Once the mask is rinsed out you're going to take your aloe vera mixture and coat your hair with it. Let this sit for 5 min.
9. Then you're going to rinse out the aloe vera thoroughly. There may be pulp left in the aloe vera mixture so be sure to get everything out.
10. Once that's done use a conditioner of your choice and follow the directions of that conditioner. I also use Cantu's conditioner, but any conditioner works.
11. After your all done with that I like to moisturize my hair. I just put some water, melted coconut oil, some jojoba oil, and some leave in conditioner in a spray bottle (making sure that its liquid enough to spray) and spray it all over my hair. This step is optional.
12. Once that's all done I braid up my hair and call it a day.
13. Then you're done!
This is a great way to have healthy and strong hair. Taking care of your hair and making sure to use the correct products for your hair is very important. Don't be afraid to try new things for the benefit of your hair, even if they have to come from the refrigerator. Hope you guys enjoyed!
